Austin ISD students and parents will have the opportunity to learn about program offerings and receive up-to-date information for the district’s 15 high schools at the annual High School Showcase.
What: A community event to highlight the variety of special programs available for high school students in AISD. Families can learn about the district’s six early college high schools, the current Career Launch programs at LBJ and Reagan early college high schools and the unique opportunities available to all students through the district’s business and postsecondary partnerships.
Where: Austin High School, 1715 Cesar Chavez Street
When: Feb. 17, 9 a.m. to noon
AISD staff will be present to assist visitors with non-campus specific information, such as transfers, English Language Learner support, transportation, counseling, student support services and curriculum.
Campuses will create specific areas that allow visitors to learn what makes their school special. Performances and demonstrations are scheduled throughout the morning.
