During National School Choice Week, AISD students will join Superintendent Paul Cruz to celebrate the variety of programs that made them choose AISD. The celebration features students and families who have chosen AISD. Public education offers a variety of choices for families. During this school year, 7,819 students have requested a transfer, showing that they are choosing the programs that are right for them. In addition, more than 110 of the district's schools are represented in the 1,434 approved applications for out-of-district transfers. What: A celebration of school choice within AISD, with high school student representatives from throughout the district. With options ranging from band and theater to entrepreneurships and robotics, AISD has opportunities to go into any field.
