Austin, Texas—This month, the Austin Independent School District will hold two informational community meetings on the district's preliminary 2013-14 budget and the May bond program.
South Austin: Wednesday, April 17
What: AISD representatives will present information and answer questions from community members about the district’s preliminary budget and bond program.
When: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 17
Where: Bowie High School, 4103 Slaughter Lane
North Austin: Wednesday, April 24
What: AISD representatives will present information and answer questions from community members about the district’s preliminary budget and bond program.
When: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 24
Where: Summitt Elementary School, 12207 Brigadoon Lane
Background: The meetings are divided into two parts, focusing on the budget from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and on the bond from 7:30 to 8 p.m. Light refreshments, childcare and interpretation services will be available.
