Approximately 1,000 Austin ISD students will participate in the 27th Annual Fall Festival for Strings on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 12:15-12:45 p.m. at the Delco Activity Center! Also known as "String Fest," the event was started by William Dick, who taught strings in Austin ISD for 27 years. The event involves all beginning Austin ISD orchestras and high school seniors, and is one of the largest music events in the district.
