Austin ISD and the Minecraft: Education Edition’s Net Zero Challenge kicks off on Monday and all third through 12th-grade students are invited to participate.
Why it matters: This five-week challenge is an opportunity for students to create solutions to improve Austin transportation as they learn more about climate change and resource sustainability.
Go deeper: This is an optional challenge.
- Students will work on this outside of class time and after school.
- A teacher sponsor will be needed to submit the presentation before May 13.
- Selected Finalists have the opportunity to celebrate their work by having a video presentation of their Minecraft world shown at the C40 global conference in Stockholm in June.
