Children need nutritious meals to learn, grow and thrive—even when school is out.
Through the Summer Food Service Program, Austin ISD will continue to serve free breakfast and lunch to local children and teens 18 and younger, regardless of economic status and whether or not the child attends AISD. Participants enjoy meals without any registration or identification requirements. Kids simply show up at a participating site to receive a healthy meal.
The Summer Food Service Program will be available at more than 30 AISD schools. Federal regulations require the schools where the program is offered to have at least 50 percent of students during the regular school year who qualify for free or reduced-price meals.
Participating sites, program dates and meal service times are subject to change.
