Eastside Memorial High School will host a Harvest Fest that brings together resources for the community and provides a forum for celebration with food, games and live music.
Resources
The festival will offer free flus shots and immunizations for the community, vision screenings and eye glasses for children, health and dental screenings, information on health insurance and more. Families can also register for the Christmas Bureau/Blue Santa program and Coats for Kids. Representatives from local programs will also be on hand to provide information on affordable housing, employment, safety, finances, legal aid and more.
The event also features an education zone that brings together local colleges, adult education providers and programs available from Eastside Memorial High School and the schools in the vertical team.
Recreation
The harvest fest also features an abundance of entertainment for children, including a climbing wall, pony rides, moonwalks, kiddie train, bike rodeo, games, crafts, a book reading and more. A free lunch will be provided to all attendees and guests can also participate in group activities like zumba.
