As part of National Bullying Prevention Month, AISD’s Eagle Talk Show presented “Take a Stand, Lend a Hand,” an episode dedicated to preventing bullying.
The show, hosted by Parent Support Specialist Mycah Lee Arellano, is a bilingual program focused on academic development of both parents and scholars. The show introduces audiences to guests who have manifested their dreams and have knowledge that is relevant to scholars and families and inspires students to reach their goals.
The show is a production of Walnut Creek Early College Prep Academy and the Department of Communications and Community Engagement.
The "Take a Stand, Lend a Hand" episode is one of many efforts underway in AISD dedicated to preventing bullying.
The district is dedicated to providing a positive school climate and believes that all students have the right to learn in an environment free of harassment, bullying and violence.
AISD's Respect for All initiative focuses on building awareness and encouraging tolerance through social emotional learning, student-led initiatives and ongoing dialogues.
