AISD will host an information meeting this Friday for all parents in the Eastside Memorial High School Vertical Team who are interested in serving on a special committee to help the district choose a partner to lead the school improvement plan for Eastside Memorial High School.
The committee will be made up of community stakeholders and six parents who will review and score proposals from outside entities who are interested in helping the district create a successful and sustainable academic program and high-performance environment at EMHS—helping to attract more students to its feeder schools and to graduate these students to be college- and career-ready.
Participation in the selection committee requires a time commitment of at least 17 hours of participation in committee meetings scheduled for the following dates:
- Tuesday, April 9
- Friday, April 19
- Saturday, April 20
- Monday, April 22
