The customer service and support area within the Austin Independent School District's Department of Technology is offering a teacher laptop clinic through Friday, Aug. 17, to provide teachers and staff with tools to help prepare for the new school year.
The Teacher Laptop Clinic will provide technical support to teachers and other school-based staff for their AISD-issued laptops and assist with any malware, viruses, expired passwords or re-imaging needs. Email set up will also be provided, if needed.
Clinic visitors should allow 30-45 minutes for their visit and are encouraged to backup data before bringing any AISD laptop to the clinic. The clinic will operate Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the following locations:
- Anderson High School, Library, 8403 Mesa Drive
- Eastside Memorial High School, Room 709A, 1012 Arthur Stiles
- Akins High School, Room 219, 10701 South 1st St.
This clinic is open to any AISD teachers or staff with district-issued laptops. New laptops cannot be issued at the clinic, but any staff in need of a laptop can contact Standards and Compliance at 414-9215.
