This evening, the Austin Independent School District's Liberal Arts and Science Academy (LASA) is hosting the first of several information sessions for eighth-grade students.

During the LASA Roadshow, administrators, teachers, students and parents will answer questions about the application process, curriculum, and transportation. Spanish translation will be available.

The open houses will be held on the following dates. Each event will begin at 6:30 p.m.:

• October 5 at Kealing Middle School, 1607 Pennsylvania Ave
• October 12 at Fulmore Middle School, 201 E. Mary Street
• October 18 at Patton Elementary School, 6001 Westcreek Drive
• October27, at Hill Elementary School, 8601 Tallwood Drive
