Women in Construction Week
March 3-9, 2024
Construction firms of all sizes and types are encouraged to participate in WIC Week and show their support for their women employees. They can also find events to participate near them on our event calendar, and participate locally with The National Association of Women in Construction Austin Area Chapter 7 .
International Women's Day

UN Women is the global champion for gender equality, working to develop and uphold standards and create an environment in which every woman and girl can exercise her human rights and live up to her full potential.
Women's History Month
March 3-9, 2024
March is Women's History Month The Library of Congress, National Archives and Records Administration, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Gallery of Art, National Park Service, Smithsonian Institution and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum join in commemorating and encouraging the study, observance and celebration of the vital role of women in American history.
The Austin ISD HUB Program Department provides:
- A race and gender-conscious process designed to encourage greater MBE/WBE availability.
- A program that encourages participation in all phases of procurement.
- Opportunities for HUB’s to broaden and enhance their capacities to do business with the District.
