¡Adelante! is an educator‐led conference focused on bilingual and dual-language education in Central Texas.
This conference is a forum for educators to share their experiences with other educators, to share insights and innovations in teaching and learning that occur daily on campuses throughout the region and to begin conversations among educators about working with bilingual students, families and communities.
The conference will be 3–8 p.m. April 22 and 7 a.m.–5 p.m. April 23 at the DoubleTree Hotel, 6505 N. I-35.
During this two-day conference, educators will have the opportunity to listen to speakers who specialize in bilingual and dual-language education, attend sessions presented by educators and visit the exhibit hall.
Speakers include AISD's María Elena Domínguez, a first-grade bilingual teacher at Rodriguez Elementary School.
¡Adelante! is presented by the Austin Area Association for Bilingual Education in collaboration with AISD, the University of Texas at Austin and Education Austin.
