In honor of Asian American Heritage Month, the Asian Behavioral Health Network & YWCA of Greater Austin proudly present, "More Than a Model Minority": Enhancing Counseling Practices, Advocacy & Community Outreach with Asian Americans in Central Texas.

Join us for a discussion and information session with mental health and other service providers who specialize in working with Asian and Asian American clients. The event will feature a keynote speech by Ramey Ko, Associate Municipal Judge (first Asian American judge in the city of Austin) and member of the President’s Advisory Commission on Asian American and Pacific Islanders. This training will provide clinicians, social workers, psychologists, other social service providers and community partners with knowledge and tools to engage in effective and successful interactions and interventions with their Asian and Asian American clients.
