Notice of 2005 State Accountability Rating for AISD

The Texas Legislature established a new requirement
in House Bill 3297, that school districts must post their current state accountability
ratings, together with the definitions of the state ratings categories, by the
tenth day of instruction each school year. This page provides you with the
required information. If you have any questions about AISD’s rating or the
district’s current performance data, please contact the AISD Office of Accountability
at 512/414-4540. You can also find additional details, explanations of terms
and future plans for the state accountability rating system on the Texas Education
Agency (TEA) web site.
AISD’s current performance data, used by the state to determine our Academically
Acceptable rating, are shown on the following pages. The full Academic Excellence
Indicator System (AEIS) report for 2005 will be posted to AISD’s web site as
soon as TEA provides it to the district later this winter.
Requirements for Each Rating Category
